Cross the river over Tower Bridge and walk down the Thames’ most picturesque bank. Get the best views of the city as we explore together the epicentre of London’s hyperactive cultural scene. See some of London’s most daring modern architecture as you are made to feel small under “The Shard”. From the legendary “Globe Theater”, or “Tate Modern”, to amazing bars and restaurants; the South Bank is the place to be!

As everywhere else in this old town, the South Bank is full of history. Hear the stories of Southwark’s creepiest prison, The Clink, where prisoners were hung in cages outside until they literally rot to remind other wrong-doers to not challenge the law. Walk through London’s Borough Market, the heart of the city’s thriving gastronomic scene. Or hear about pirates who sailed the seas in an epic quest for treasure.

Our Free London Landmark South Tour is one that you absolutely can’t miss, for here, the old and the new blend into each other in harmony. Be ready for some of the best photo opportunities of the Big Smoke, and enjoy over a thousand years of history that will take you from medieval times to the most contemporary side of London.

Best out of 10 different tours? You got it.

Yan was amazing. We have taken close to 10 different free walking tours, and this was the best in a while. He was engaged, knowledge, with both historical facts and fun stores. Would totally recommend, and would have taken another tour with him if we had the time.

Cool sites and even better tour guide!

5 out of 5

Family travel with our three boys (15.14.11). Loved this tour! Nathan did an outstanding job giving us highlights and interesting history and anecdotes as we traveled from Tower of London, over the Tower Bridge and along the Thames to the Globe Theatre. Nathan had us all fully engaged--top notch tour! would take any tour Nathan leads. Decent sized group 15 or so, but handled it well, could hear no problem and kept group together. Many great tips on additional places to go---great way to get acclimated and then go back to some of the sites. Was very impressed with Strawberry Tours.
