Trip Tour Madrid is a very professional organisation. I have been told the visit in French was cancelled due to lack of participants. This allowed me to book a tour in English. The guides speak a perfect English. Marik even comes from the US. They give a lot of information and are very friendly. I recommend these tours blindly. Besides, this is a way to encourage students as they are not professional guides. Thanks again to them for the lovely tour and all the information I am taking back home.

If you want to see some of the most elegant architecture that Madrid has to offer, then make sure you sign up for this incredible free tour. The Free Majestic Madrid Tour takes in some of the city’s most beloved landmarks built by the Bourbon Dynasty in the 18th and 19th centuries. You will discover the Retiro-Prado axis, a vast ensemble of historic gardens and grand avenues declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the tour, the group will pass by the world-famous Prado Museum, home to some of the world's greatest masterpieces, including the iconic “Las Meninas” by Diego Velazquez. As they stroll past, the group will discover more about the museum’s history.

Walking with your local guide along Paseo del Prado, guests will be amazed by the number of stunning landmarks on display. A stop at Cybele Palace and the breathtaking Cybele Fountain is an opportunity to discover the myth of the goddess Cybele and how she has come to be such an important symbol for the city. Along Paseo del Prado there’s another iconic landmark, the Fountain of Neptune. It’s also inspired by mythology and, along with the Cibeles Fountain, it was created as part of a project by King Charles III to modernize the city. Nowadays, the two fountains are known for their scenes of jubilant football celebration, with Atletico Madrid fans celebrating at Neptune and their rivals, Real Madrid, at Cybele.

Not far from Cybele Fountain there’s the House of America. This is one of the most important cultural institutions in Madrid. It is housed in the opulent Linares Palace and is also rumored to have its very own ghost! At the end of the road is one of the jewels of Madrid, Retiro Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This famous historical park is full of intrigues and fascinating stories, as well as being the perfect place to relax. Within the park, is the glorious Crystal Palace, constructed in 1887. It was used as part of an exhibition on the Philippines (then a Spanish Colony). All this and more will be covered during this incredible Majestic Madrid Free Tour.
