Just some streets away there’s the Royal Theater and the wonderful Plaza Mayor, whose colorful arcades are one of the most famous landmarks in Madrid. Right there, the group will make a short stop at a very special place: San Miguel Market, a renovated hall full of tiny boutique cafés, fresh fruit shops, traditional eateries and more. It’s the perfect place to relax for a minute, grab a drink and enjoy typical treats from the region: fried squid sandwiches, chocolate with ‘churros’, Spanish ham ‘tapas’ or egg omelet. Walking through cobbled streets with your local guide, you'll pass through the city's narrowest street just next to Plaza de la Villa, and you'll find some of the oldest restaurants in the city dug into caves along the surprising Cava de San Miguel.
