In contrast, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial celebrates the legacy of a man who changed the course of history with his dream for equality. The sprawling Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial takes you through the pivotal moments of Roosevelt's presidency. Finally, the Jefferson Memorial stands as a serene tribute to one of the nation’s founding fathers. These sites epitomize the values and struggles that have shaped the United States.
