Eilat is a magical place filled with beautiful beaches where you can watch the sunset in Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. Full of biblical history as well as beach resort entertainment and shopping malls, the Essential Free Tour Eilat has been designed with all types of visitors in mind, from first-timers who want to see all the main landmarks to those who wish to delve deeper and discover some of its best kept secrets. Most tours will start around the Ice Mall. Eilat is a shopper’s paradise with the added bonus of the shopping being completely tax free! This mall is unique for also being home to a huge ice-skating rink. Here, your guide will give you a brief introduction to the city and its early origins.

Following this introduction, your group will wander down past the lagoon towards the coastline. Passing by Kings City (a former biblical theme park!), your group will then come to Herod's Palace Promenade, which takes the group along a pretty promenade alongside the sea next to the stylish Herod's Palace Hotel. As the group continues their walk, they’ll have a chance to learn about some of the history of the city and its surrounding area. Guests will love the biblical stories of King Solomon and the legends of crusaders during the Middle Ages and learning about its eventual fall to Sultan Saladin. At the Um Rush Rush monument, guests will discover more about the British presence in the area and the outcome of the Arabian-Israeli war of 1948–49.

The star attractions on the Free Essential Tour Eilat are the gorgeous beaches, which include Dekel Beach and Tarshish Beach. Here, guests will learn about the importance of marine conservation and the unique ecosystem of the Red Sea. Depending on the time and the dynamics of the group, the tour will then head to Dolphin Reef Beach, where they will have the best chance of spotting some dolphins playing in the sea. During the tour, do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you wish; your guide will be more than happy to answer them. And, of course, all guests on the tour will come away with a host of recommendations and tips on where to eat and what to do during the remainder of their stay.
