This neighborhood is Bogota’s cultural heart and is full of charming narrow streets to explore, such as Callejón del Embudo (Funnel Alley), where you will find art covering nearly every wall. In this area, you will see some of the most stunning murals in Bogota, such as the breathtaking "Cuna woman", created by Carlos Trilleras. Here, you will learn about how artists began using graffiti as a way of combating the violence that used to plague the area. They will also uncover some of the key socio-political themes behind the works, such as corruption, indigenous and women's rights. Your guide will also reveal some of the symbols within the work.
